TEACHERS

Hello! My name is Pamela, and I teach creative dance for children as well as the foundations of contemporary dance for teenagers. In my classes, I focus on developing creativity and self-confidence, as well as nurturing a healthy body and mind. My teaching style is influenced by my artistic practice as a dance and circus artist—and, in turn, my art is strongly shaped by my experience as a teacher.
I am an Italian dancer, clown, and puppeteer living in Cologne. My artistic education began in Scotland, where I earned a degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies from the University of Glasgow. I then moved to Cologne to study at the Center for Contemporary Dance, where I graduated in 2024. Alongside my studies, I trained as a self-taught puppet maker and puppeteer and completed clown training with Tom Roos.
On the streets of Edinburgh, I developed the puppet theatre Poldo and Pinolino: a magical, interactive performance featuring a dancing clown and a puppet. This work won the Fritz Wortelmann Prize of the City of Bochum in 2023.
