CO-OPERATION
The TanzFaktur Professional training is aimed at professional dancers, mediators and specialists in the field of dance and movement who want to maintain, deepen and further their practice. The training is led on a weekly basis by internationally renowned lecturers who focus on contemporary, classical, improvisational or somatic teaching approaches. As a dance venue, TanzFaktur offers a platform for exchange and networking by organizing continuous training for the freelance dance scene, thereby strengthening the dance community.

The Center for Contemporary Dance (ZZT) of the University of Music and Dance (HfMT) has been linked to TanzFaktur for years through joint projects and cooperation.

Founded in 1920, studiobühneköln is the oldest existing German university theater. In 1974, the University of Cologne elevated the "Studiobühne und Filmwerkstatt" to a central institution, which it maintains and promotes as an independent, open cultural center of the university.

For over ten years, the Cologne tanz.tausch - tanz und performance festival has been presenting contemporary dance productions from NRW and other federal states in exciting double and triple bill evenings.
Sommerblut Kulturfestival
Sommerblut has been the "festival of multipolar culture" in Cologne since 2002 and sees itself as an inclusive cultural festival that aims to bring together different social, societal and political viewpoints and identities.

TanzFaktur has been an EDELGARD protection centre since the beginning of 2024. EDELGARD is a project of the Cologne Initiative against Sexualised Violence and is committed to a process of social change.
