As part of the SOLOEDITION format, students in their final year of the BA Dance programme present performative solo works. The choreographies are the result of an intensive phase of practice-based artistic research and deal with personal and socially inscribed experiences. Bodies become places of memory, attribution, resistance and transformation. 

The solos move between intimacy and publicness, between vulnerability and assertion. They negotiate questions of identity, body image, desire, care, pain and healing, as well as processes of withdrawal, searching and becoming. Contradictory experiences, ambiguities and ambivalences are explored in the choreographic works, making states and relationships visible. 

The students are accompanied by mentors from the fields of choreography, dance, dramaturgy and performance, who work closely with them to support the development of their respective artistic questions and different approaches to contemporary dance practice.
