Art creates a space to change the world

As cultural workers in Germany, we are not above things, but on the ground from which the greatest state crimes in human history were committed. In this country, art has already been defamed as degenerate and culture has been misused across the board for propaganda purposes. Millions of people were murdered or went into exile, including many artists.

As artists in Cologne, we want to set an example of solidarity with the people in Ukraine whose peace, freedom and life are threatened. They need all of our support, now!
