Experience level Intermediate: Requires a consistent practice of at least 2 ½ years. Prior experience recommended.
The intermediate level is designed for dancers with at least two years of experience in classical ballet technique who wish to deepen their practice. The focus is on targeted flexibility training, precise execution of turnout, and a stable, well-aligned posture—both when standing and while moving through space. The final 30 minutes of the class are dedicated to working on a ballet variation. A "ballet variation" is a specific choreographed sequence or passage within a ballet, typically performed by a solo dancer or a small group.
The class is danced in standard leather ballet slippers.
